THE FIRST 111
Some doors only open once.
The first 111 people to enter the Atlas become its Founding Explorers.
They are not simply joining near the beginning. They are helping shape a world while it is still becoming itself. Their names, numbers and presence will remain part of the Atlas long after the first map has been completed.
This is the Founding Era. And there will only ever be 111.
THE FOUNDING ERA
To arrive while the map is still being drawn.
The Threshold Year is the first official cycle of Atlas of Becoming.
The first twelve realms. The first correspondence. The first artefacts recovered from the map.
Founding Explorers are the people willing to step through the doorway before every path has been revealed. They will witness the earliest version of the Atlas and carry pieces of its origin story that may never be created in quite the same way again.
You do not have to know where the expedition is going. That is rather the point.
The Founding Explorer Classification
-
Permanent Classification
Your permanent Explorer number records where you entered the expedition and marks you as one of the original 111. It remains yours for as long as the Atlas exists.
-
Founding-Era Relics
Experimental artefacts, symbolic inserts, archive fragments and unexpected pieces may appear as the Atlas takes shape. Some may never return in quite the same form.
-
The Atlas Registry
Your Explorer name and permanent number will take their place within the Founding Explorer Registry, belonging to the recorded history of this world.
-
The Thirteenth Correspondence
Founding Explorers who remain throughout the complete Threshold Year will receive a private thirteenth correspondence created only for them.
THE FOUNDING EXPLORER REGISTRY
The Atlas remembers who helped illuminate its first paths.
Every Founder will eventually take their place within the permanent Atlas Registry.
Not as a customer on a list, but as one of the lights that helped illuminate the earliest paths through the map.
Your Explorer name and permanent number will belong to the history of this world.
THE HIDDEN THIRTEENTH CORRESPONDENCE
Another doorway waits beyond the final map.
Twelve realms form the Threshold Year. But for Founding Explorers who remain throughout the complete first cycle, a private thirteenth correspondence will be created only for them.
Its contents will remain undisclosed.
Some things should be discovered only by those who complete the journey.
A NOTE FROM THE CARTOGRAPHER
No world becomes real because one person imagined it.
Atlas of Becoming began somewhere between art, story, symbolism, philosophy and the longing for something slower, stranger and more human.
I wanted to create something tangible. Something intimate. Something that felt like discovering correspondence from a world that should not quite exist.
But no world becomes real because one person imagined it. It becomes real when somebody else steps inside.
If you become one of the First 111, please know that you are not only receiving Atlas. You are helping build it while it is still becoming.
That means more to me than I can properly explain.
Welcome, Wayfinder.
